This October, horticulture will have its first ever dedicated exhibit at New Scientist Live, one of the UK's leading science education events. Open to the public on 10-11 October, with 12 October reserved for invited school groups, the exhibit will showcase the breadth, innovation and impact of our sector.
The CIH is proud to support this collaborative initiative alongside RBG Kew, BALI, Q&S Landscaping, Provender Nurseries, Fusion Media (GroundsFest) and Ginger Horticulture, with the HTA sponsoring Young People in Horticulture Association (YHPA) to help staff the event.
Designed to inspire young people and families interested in STEM, the interactive exhibit will highlight the exciting career opportunities within horticulture and the vital role our industry plays in tackling climate change, supporting biodiversity and advancing plant science. This fantastic partnership demonstrates how our sector is coming together to raise the profile of horticulture and inspire the next generation of horticulturists.
